Tribal sports betting bill signed by Washington’s Governor

Jay Inslee, Washington’s Governor has signed the House Bill 2638 that will legalize the sports betting at tribal gambling facilities in the state. The bill authorizes in-person sports betting at tribal casinos, as well as on-premises mobile wagering. The Senate Committee on Ways and Means voted the HB 2638 bill that would legalize in-person and online sports wagering activities in Washington. House Bill 2638, accompanied by the Senate Bill 6394, would allow land-based sports betting at tribal casinos and card rooms, in addition to mobile on-premises betting.
