1. In short
szilaghi.com does not use advertising, social-media or cross-site tracking cookies, and it loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. That is why you do not see a cookie banner: under Law no. 506/2004 (article 4(5)) and the GDPR, consent is required only for storage that is not strictly necessary, and we do not use any.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. They can be strictly necessary (for example to keep you logged in or secure a form) or optional (for example analytics or advertising).
3. What this website uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| None on public pages | — | Our pages, including the contact form, set no cookies. The form uses a one-time hidden token in the page itself, not a cookie. | — | No |
| Website analytics (Matomo, self-hosted) | Cookieless measurement | Aggregate visit statistics, run on our own hosting, with IP addresses anonymized; no data shared with third parties | No cookie stored | No |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* | Strictly necessary | Only for our own staff logged into the site’s content system | Session to 1 year | No |
Links to WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn or Facebook take you to those services; their own cookie policies apply once you are on their sites.
4. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies does not affect your use of our public pages.
5. Changes
If we ever add optional cookies or third-party tools, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent through a banner before setting them.
