The challenge
A Portuguese iGaming platform provider wanted a corporate presence in Romania and the authorization required to provide platform technology and related services to licensed operators.
Unlike projects that register an existing foreign company, this engagement required a new Romanian legal entity alongside the Class II application.
The client needed one integrated solution covering company formation and the regulatory requirements for a B2B platform provider.
Our approach
We advised on the Romanian incorporation, assisted with the corporate documentation and coordinated registration with the relevant authorities.
Once the company was established, we prepared its Class II application, taking into account the requirements specific to iGaming platforms and software service providers, and aligned the corporate documentation with the information ONJN requires.
The outcome
The platform provider incorporated its Romanian company and obtained the Class II gambling license.
The client now has a locally incorporated, licensed entity for its approved B2B activities in the Romanian market.
